Enrique Chi - Guitar Instructor
Enrique has played the guitar for over 15 years and has been performing professionally for over half that time. He teaches beginners up to advanced students. His focus is on instilling a passion for the guitar and preparing the student to make music on his or her own. His belief is that if the student reaches the point where they can create music, it will be a rewarding lifelong activity for them.
His lessons feature a performance aspect by including recitals where the student has the opportunity to perform a song with a professional backing band. The recitals are held at a reputable music venue and have proven to be great for the students and a blast to watch.
Enrique currently fronts Latin Alternative band Making Movies who travel nationally performing their original material. They have had the privilege of playing along side Grammy winners Los Lonely Boys and Aterciopelados. In 2009 the band has performed in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, New York, Austin and most everyplace in between. You can check out music at the link below.
